type of girl that actively seeks out dens in a forest region for genuine research purposes of xenoevolution on a planet she's a colonist of. she encounters a colony species of vaguely humanoid bat-like beings that mistakes her for one of their own during a biennial mating season.because world building is awesome: unbeknownst to her, this is the first sapient species that a space-fairing humanity had encountered on a planet dotted with green islands. they had discovered extraterrestrial life, but nothing sentient up until that point. is her first contact as a misled female of that species indicative of convergent evolution, and if such, would it be safe to say that abiogenesis is not as likely as a panspermia event, in this hypothetical universe?
