food wasn't a priority when it made this post but now it'll also be able to sustain its body a little better, too.

one may know that this one does not like asking for help, especially when this particular time of the year is very rough for so many creatures.
it is, however, quite pressed to do this because its body is beginning to show physiological changes indicative of initial malnutrition (some weight loss, fatigue, inability to pursue intellectual thoughts, and abnormal gi activity). it has not had the leeway to both eat well and transport itself to and from college where it is full-time juggling classes and work for over 10 hours straight on its shortest day.
it experienced a one week lapse in pay about two weeks ago due to changes in payroll and, as it already lives paycheck to paycheck on a bi-weekly basis, has been trying rather hard to make ends meet since then. the recent snowstorm that blanketed the eastern side of the united states did provide it with some labor, but the costs of caring for its cat-based compatriot and finding insufficient amounts of food this week chewed through the small amount of money it made shoveling faster than anticipated.
it really just wants to get home tomorrow and for the five long weekdays next week. these past few days have been very stressful while it weighed this choice to ask for help and how it could alleviate this situation.
